I love my gliders! I often spend more time with them then my husband. They are my family and we have bonded. Most of my waking hours, I have one or more on my person somewhere. When they are not on me they deserve the best sugar glider cage sets I can find for them. There are so many kinds of things that suggies can play with, or jump on, or run in, or sleep inside of. Supplying the home of my babies has such a target rich environment because of how many kinds of things you can put in there. They love living in a "split level" home so have some places they can perch low, medium and high.
These 2 inch pets love bright colors. They love space to "fly" in as well. I never use a cage that is too confining but always try get one that is at least 18 inches front to back and 2 feet from side to side. And the taller the better. They exercise by jumping then gliding across those long areas, but they also like playing hide-n-seek in and around ropes, or fixtures. They love running in a wheel. In fact we often have to or sometimes even 3 get in the wheel at the same time.(not posted on this site, but my husband has a how to on building those wheels) If you want your glider to be healthy and happy, first you need to spend a lot of time with it, then you need to make sure you have the best toy, sleeping, exercise options you can find.
I like the high ratings these pieces get from people that have purchased them. I also like having several pieces so I can put about half of them in, and when its time to clean those, I can just swap them out for another full set. This helps keep the colors compatible where nothing will stand out or look faded more then the other pieces of the same set. Which, by the way is another important consideration. Gliders do their "business" on these pieces so I always make sure they can be swapped in/out and cleaned with ease.
